This
2 day course is geared to teach students solid, VOIP network management and
troubleshooting skills
using the Observer® network analyzer. This
class provides an in-depth understanding of network and protocol architecture
for real-time voice and video transmission over data networks. Students will
understand common VoIP issues and solutions, including assessment, performance
analysis, and problem resolution. Through a combination of lecture and hands-on
exercises, students learn practical methods for analyzing voice and video
communication over an IP-based network.
Objective:
This
course combines both lecture and labs to focus on VoIP architecture, protocols,
troubleshooting, and analysis. This course provides the student with a solid
foundation of VoIP concepts and an awareness of common VoIP issues, Quality of
Service measurement, Scoring of voice calls and solutions to common VoIP
problems.
